Whom to contact? The situation decides:

Life-threatening emergencies
Call the emergency number for help: 144 (for transport by road) or 1414 (Rega helicopter).

If you need medical attention
but cannot reach your GP, please contact Zweisimmen Hospital: Telephone number 058 636 90 00.

In the event of poisoning emergencies
contact the telephone number: 145. You can reach the Swiss Toxicological Information Centre by calling this number.

Anchor: checkliste

The doctor on duty and the emergency nursing staff in the emergency department will require the following information from you:

  • What exactly happened?
  • What are the symptoms of the health problem?
  • Do you have any other conditions? 
  • Are you taking any medications? 
  • If yes, which and in what dosage? 
  • Do you have any allergies? 
  • When did you last eat?

If possible, please bring the following documents with you to the emergency department:

  • Insurance card 
  • Blood thinner card 
  • Current medication card or medications in their original packaging 
  • Blood group card, if available 
  • Vaccination certificate
  • Allergy passport
