Whom to contact? The situation decides:
Life-threatening emergencies
Call the emergency number for help: 144 (for transport by road) or 1414 (Rega helicopter).
If you need medical attention
but cannot reach your GP, please contact Zweisimmen Hospital: Telephone number 058 636 90 00.
In the event of poisoning emergencies
contact the telephone number: 145. You can reach the Swiss Toxicological Information Centre by calling this number.

The doctor on duty and the emergency nursing staff in the emergency department will require the following information from you:
- What exactly happened?
- What are the symptoms of the health problem?
- Do you have any other conditions?
- Are you taking any medications?
- If yes, which and in what dosage?
- Do you have any allergies?
- When did you last eat?
If possible, please bring the following documents with you to the emergency department:
- Insurance card
- Blood thinner card
- Current medication card or medications in their original packaging
- Blood group card, if available
- Vaccination certificate
- Allergy passport
